This page provides a complete, plain-language explanation of ProxyCrown's business model, product offering, purchasing workflow, and technical delivery. It is intended to help customers, partners, and payment processing reviewers understand exactly what ProxyCrown sells and how the service operates.
What ProxyCrown Sells
ProxyCrown is a B2B proxy infrastructure provider. We sell access to a managed network of proxy IP addresses that allow business customers to route their outbound internet traffic through a different IP address and geographic location. We offer five proxy product types: (1) Residential Proxies — IP addresses sourced from real residential internet connections operated by consenting device owners across 195+ countries, ideal for geo-targeted research and data collection that requires authentic residential fingerprints; (2) Datacenter Proxies — high-speed IP addresses hosted in commercial data centres, optimised for high-volume, latency-sensitive workloads; (3) ISP Proxies — static IP addresses assigned by internet service providers, combining the speed of datacenter infrastructure with the authenticity of residential registration; (4) Static Residential Proxies — residential IPs that remain assigned to a single customer for a defined period, providing session persistence; (5) Rotating Residential Proxies — residential IPs that automatically rotate on each request or on a defined interval, maximising anonymity and reducing the risk of blocks during large-scale data collection.
How Customers Purchase
Customers purchase ProxyCrown services directly on proxycrown.com. There are two purchasing models. Subscription Plans: the customer selects a product type and bandwidth tier (e.g., 5 GB, 20 GB, 100 GB per month), chooses a billing interval (monthly or annual — annual plans receive a discount), and completes checkout via our payment provider's hosted payment form. The chosen bandwidth is made available immediately upon payment confirmation. Pay-As-You-Go (PAYG): the customer selects a product type and purchases a credit package in a specific bandwidth amount (e.g., 10 GB, 50 GB, 500 GB). PAYG credits are charged once at the time of purchase and deducted as bandwidth is consumed. No subscription commitment is required. Both purchasing flows are completed entirely on proxycrown.com using our payment provider's PCI DSS compliant payment infrastructure. ProxyCrown does not store or handle raw card data.
Dashboard and Account Management
After purchase, the customer accesses the ProxyCrown dashboard at dash.proxycrown.com. The dashboard provides: real-time bandwidth usage statistics and remaining balance; proxy endpoint hostnames, port numbers, and authentication credentials; API key management (for programmatic integration); subscription management (upgrade, downgrade, cancel); billing history and downloadable invoices (payment provider receipts); traffic logs showing requests, response codes, and latency (retained 30 days); and support ticket submission. The dashboard is accessible via any modern web browser and does not require any software installation.
Proxy Authentication and Delivery
ProxyCrown delivers proxy access via two authentication methods. Username and Password Authentication: the customer configures their HTTP or SOCKS5 client with a gateway hostname (e.g., gate.proxycrown.com), a port number, and the credentials displayed in their dashboard. Requests routed through this endpoint are authenticated per connection. Whitelisted IP Authentication: enterprise and higher-tier customers may whitelist up to 10 static IP addresses from which connections are accepted without per-request credential transmission. Geographic targeting is achieved by appending a country or city code to the username (e.g., user-cc-US). Session stickiness (for static assignments) or rotation interval is configured in the same username parameter. No software installation or VPN client is required. The service is compatible with any programming language, browser automation tool, or HTTP client that supports proxy configuration.
API Access
ProxyCrown provides a RESTful management API for programmatic integration. The API allows customers to: retrieve remaining bandwidth balance; list available proxy endpoints and geographic targets; rotate credentials; retrieve usage statistics; and manage sub-users for team accounts. The API is authenticated using a bearer token (API key) generated in the dashboard. Full API documentation is available at proxycrown.com/docs. API access does not grant any additional proxy bandwidth beyond what is included in the customer's active subscription or PAYG balance.
Traffic Usage and Bandwidth
Bandwidth consumption is measured by the volume of data transferred through ProxyCrown's proxy network on behalf of the customer, calculated as the sum of request and response payload bytes. Bandwidth counters update in near-real-time in the dashboard. For subscription plans, the monthly bandwidth allocation resets at the start of each new billing cycle on the same calendar date as the original purchase. PAYG credit balances decrease continuously as bandwidth is consumed and do not reset. Customers who exhaust their bandwidth allocation mid-cycle may purchase a top-up (PAYG credit package) or upgrade to a higher subscription tier to restore access. Bandwidth consumed by failed or timed-out requests is not charged.
Billing Cycle and Invoicing
Subscription customers are billed automatically by our payment provider on the first day of each new billing cycle. Monthly subscriptions renew every 30 days from the original purchase date. Annual subscriptions renew every 365 days. The payment provider sends a payment receipt to the customer's registered email address upon each successful charge. Invoices are also available for download in the dashboard under Billing > Invoices. VAT or sales tax is applied where required by law and itemised separately on the invoice. Customers requiring invoices with specific purchase order numbers or tax registration details should contact billing@proxycrown.com.
Support Process
ProxyCrown provides customer support via email and a ticket system accessible from the dashboard. Support tiers are as follows: all customers receive standard email support with a target first response time of 4 business hours for technical issues and 1 business day for billing inquiries; higher-tier subscription plans receive priority support with a target response time of 1 business hour; enterprise customers receive a dedicated account manager and optional Slack Connect channel. Our support team is staffed Monday through Friday, 09:00–18:00 UTC, with on-call coverage for critical outages outside those hours. To contact support, email support@proxycrown.com or open a ticket from your dashboard.
